William "Bill" Thomas Ellis

William “Bill” Thomas Ellis, a resident of Spring Branch, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024 in San Antonio. Born and raised in New Braunfels, he was born on January 10, 1944 to the late James Ellis and Helene Hansmann Ellis.
Bill loved being outdoors; fishing, hunting, and gardening. He also enjoyed feeding and watching hummingbirds.
Bill is survived by his wife, Denise Ellis; children, Ryan Ellis and his wife Ashley and their children, Ryder and Emerson; Aaron Ellis and wife Jodi and their children, Zoe and Mae; and Stacy Ellis and her husband Kevin and her children, Tiffany and Lauren. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Joe Bob James; sister-in-law Brenda Ellis; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his siblings, Ruth Meadows, Ruby Mills, John “Sonny” Ellis; and Annie James.
A Time of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Lux Funeral Home from 1:00-3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
