Trinidad "Jose" Montez

Trinidad "Jose" G. Montez, 86, of New Braunfels, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 in New Braunfels. Born on May 26, 1930 in Sugar Land, Texas, he was the son of the late Enrique Montes and Hilaria Gutierrez Montes.
Jose is survived by his wife, Maria Elena Garcia Montez; children, Maria Elena Sanchez and her husband Gerardo, Jorge T. Montez and his wife, Laura T., Yolanda M. Salazar and her husband Roberto, and Jose Luis Montez; grandchildren, Tony Sanchez, Oscar Sanchez, Jorge A. Montez, Laura Rosales, Jerez Salazar, Marcos Salazar, Cristina Montez and Jenna Montez. Also surviving are 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters, Amada Estrada, and Elvira Gonzalez; and brother, Pedro Montes.
A visitation will be held at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. All services will conclude at the end of the visitation Monday.
