Stephanie Rachele Dunham-Hamilton passed away peacefully at her home in New Braunfels, Texas, on Friday, April 18, 2025, at the age of 55. Born on June 16, 1969, in New Braunfels, Stephanie was the beloved daughter of Daniel and Betty Lou Dunham.

Adventurous and full of life, Stephanie had a deep love for travel and a passion for exploring new places and cultures. Shortly after graduating from New Braunfels High School, she set out into the world—living and working in the Philippines, Iceland, New York, Florida, and Arizona—before returning to her hometown in 2023.

Stephanie cherished time with her family above all else. She was a devoted mother, a loving partner, a doting “Mimi”, and a loyal friend. She especially treasured the moments spent with her children and grandchildren. Stephanie found joy in nature, in music, and in the simple beauty of everyday life. Her spirit was vibrant, her heart generous, and her presence unforgettable.

Stephanie is survived by her loving partner, James; her children, Cameron, Sydney, and Eric, along with their partners, Heleina, Kordell, and Kelly; and her grandchildren, Abel, Colt, Raylan, and Camilla. She is also survived by her siblings, Lisa, Marc, and Nancy. She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel, and her sisters, Carey and Laura.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Monday, April 28th, 2025 at First Protestant Church in New Braunfels, followed by a Celebration of Life to honor and remember Stephanie’s beautiful journey to be held at Krause’ Café at 12:30pm. In memory of Stephanie, please wear your favorite Spring outfit.
