The death of a loved one leaves an empty space in the hearts of those left behind but, remembering my memaw is a reminder that death is a curtain, but beyond that is a paradise, knowing that my she is in the righteous grasp of God is comforting not only to me but to herself as she no longer struggles in the chaos of this world and she may now rest in the spotlight of heavens welcoming gates.

my memaw was the best memaw there was, we used to go out to McDonalds and play in the play area and have a lot of fun. and we would eat vanilla ice cream with my opa at 2 O’clock SHARP! she would let me dip my strawberry’s in sugar (something mommy would never do) and would let me turn on her touch activation lamps. I will miss her a lot forever and ever and ever.
