Glen Specht

Glen William Specht, 66, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025. Glen was born on September 20, 1958 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Richard Specht and Joan Ball Specht.

He was a very devoted husband and father. He was an outstanding teacher, loved by his family and friends. A very understanding and wise person, great listener and charming good humor. He enjoyed the outdoors taking pictures of nature, walking, swimming, reading The Bible , memorizing verses from it and very fluent in both languages English and Spanish. We all will miss him greatly.

Glen is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Maria Eugenia Specht; children, Ruth Peale and husband John-Mark Peale, Stephanie Dockrey and husband Reese Dockrey, and Wesley Specht; grandchildren, Audrey and Ethan Peale and June Dockrey; and siblings, Stanley and Philip Specht and Shirley Hintz.

Graveside Services will be on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
