Celeste Louise Thomas, 69, of Bulverde, passed away on February 19, 2025. She was born on October 19, 1955 in Houston to Louise and Charles Beagle. Celeste, or “Nana” to her kids and grandkids, was a strong woman of faith. She had the gift of hospitality and an innate ability to make people feel welcome and wanted in her presence. She enjoyed her career as an accountant, but her favorite “work” was serving as a mother and grandmother. Celeste liked to dance her way through life, and we firmly believe she is now dancing the streets of heaven.
She is survived by her husband Bill Thomas (of over 48 years), her daughters Jamie (Chad) Ruback (and 17-year-old Chihuahua Daisy Louise), Kelly (Jaret) Rabon, and her granddaughters Quinn (11) and Kennedy (7) Rabon, who were the light of her life.

A sweet friend for many years, a daughter of the Most High God, Finally Home! We will see you soon!!!
Bill, Charlie and I send our love and prayers to you as you walk out this new, uncharted journey without Celeste. Never forget that Jesus is walking it with you. The Scripture says that underneath you are the arms of God, holding you up. Charlie and Pat Reynolds
What I loved about Celeste was her energy for life! I got to know her through missions and later just conversations about life and Jesus. She had the most vibrant smile and her countenance was radiant! Memories with her include being sponsors on youth missions trips, riding in the back of church vans and walking on sandy hills in Juarez Mexico during mission trips. We laughed a lot and we had deep convos about Jesus and ministry. She loved people and Jesus!
Praying for her beautiful family and that the Lord will continue to bless her family with his faithful enduring love!!!
1 Peter 2:19, 20b
“ for this a gracious thing, when, mindful of God, one endures sorrows while suffering unjustly. …. But if you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God.”
She has been healed by His wounds.
How I loved Celeste! She was there for me through a very difficult time of my life. She will always be fondly remembered by me.
My heart goes out to Bill and you girls.
I hope y’all can find comfort in these verses that have meant so much to me during my losses:
1 Corinthians 15:51-58 and especially 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18. Sending much love and hugs and I’ll be remembering y’all in daily prayer.
Auntie Celeste 🩷Truly a beautiful radiant light and gem in many lives. Know she is dancing freely with Jesus and she is always with you – close by in your hearts. Mama Xuan and Papa Scott loved visits and chats with Auntie Celeste & Uncle Bill… and had the blessing of spending time together in Texas not long ago along with Auntie Louise & Uncle Charlie(and long ago visits to CA that we all cherish). Our entire ohana from CA, HI, TX, AZ are sending prayers and aloha your way. May you always know her legacy lives on in each of you and she has rooted so much love and joy in all of you. God bless you and is with you during this difficult time. Lots of love and aloha, Robbins, Norwood, Street, Touchstone and Reis ohanas ☀️🙏🏽
What a beautiful Light Celeste was to us all.
We here at GCU are going to miss Celestes laugh and heart for others.
Jaimie and I were so saddened to hear of the passing of Celeste, Bill. What a sweet lady. We always enjoyed our visits when you two would walk through the neighborhood. May the Lord grant her eternal rest in His presence.
