Anastasio G. Hernandez

Anastasio G. Hernandez, age 81, and a resident of New Braunfels, passed away Monday morning, February 17, 2025 at his home. Anastasio was born on April 27, 1943, in Mexico to the late Manuel Hernandez and Maria Gonzalez. He was preceded in death by his wife, Olivia Salinas Hernandez; son, Anastasio Hernandez, Jr.; Grandson, Jose Juan Hernandez Jr. “JJ”; Mother, Maria Hernandez; and by two brothers, Thomas and Eulalio Hernandez. Survivors include his children, Jose J. Hernandez Sr., Liliana Hernandez and Amanda Sandoval and husband, Jose; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and two brothers, Manuel and Anselmo Hernandez. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM, all on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. All services will end at the conclusion of the visitation on Wednesday afternoon.
