Robert Sirio Garcia, Sr.
Robert, 83, was called to his heavenly home on Thursday, March 13, 2025. He was born on August 10, 1941, in New Braunfels, TX to Brigido and Clara Sirio Garcia.

Robert worked for Mission Valley Textiles for many years. Also, worked with NBISD as a custodian. Robert was a deacon at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. He was a Boy Scout Troop Leader. He enjoyed spending time with his family camping and swimming at Canyon Lake.

He is preceded in death by his parents Brigido and Clara Sirio Garcia, brother Juan Casarez, sister Ramona Garcia Avalos, brother-n-law Andres Avalos and Sister Estella Garcia.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jesusa “Susie” Garcia, his daughter Janie Garcia, his son Robert Garcia, Jr. (Olga), his son Richard Garcia, his daughter Linda Flores (Jesse); grandchildren David Villarreal III, Brian Villarreal, Vanessa Villarreal, Serena Garcia, Rudy Saavedra III, Jasmine Saavedra, Desiree Flores, Jacob Flores, and Isabel Flores; great-grandchildren, Julian Hebert, Santiago Ortega-Popoca, Sebastian Ortega-Popoca, Leon Gardner, Myles Benz, Raelynn Doxie and Aaliyah Saavedra.

He is also survived by his brother Frank Casarez, Sr., Ramon and Yolanda Garcia from McKinney, TX; Samuel and Carmen Gonzales from Austin, TX; Joe and Lucy Garcia, and Irma Garcia; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM on Monday, March 24, 2025, at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church.
