Ezekiel Journey Snow, known to those who loved him as Zeke, passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 21. Born on January 19, 2004, in Eau Claire, WI, he spent his early years in and around the Eau Claire area before moving to Canyon Lake, TX, at the age of 13. He later made his home in New Braunfels, TX.

Zeke was a constant joy to be around, with a singular goal in any social situation—to make people laugh. Impossibly witty, caring, and outgoing, he had a natural ability to bring warmth and humor to any moment. Through life’s ups and downs, his smile and sweet disposition remained unwavering.

He loved his family deeply, always making time for his siblings in his own unique ways—whether through games, movie outings, surprise gifts, or heartfelt conversations. His interests were ever-changing, and he shared them with infectious enthusiasm, drawing people in with his passion and excitement. A collector of the unusual and intriguing, he could often be found scouring libraries, pawn shops, and antique stores in search of his next treasured find.

Zeke had a rare gift for making people feel seen and valued. He took genuine interest in the aspirations, struggles, and joys of those around him, always listening as much as he spoke. And, without fail, he had the perfect joke ready to lighten any mood or dissolve tension.

Brilliant, talented, magnetic, and unfailingly kind, Zeke leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his father, Michael Snow, of New Braunfels, TX; his siblings Evening (Derick) Peters of Eau Claire, WI; Elowyn Snow, Aliyah Snow, and Izak Snow of San Antonio, TX; Aubryanne Snow of San Marcos, TX; and Autumn Snow, Elliana Snow, Everleigh Snow, Ariomi Snow, Eden Snow, and Ocean Snow, of New Braunfels, TX. He is also survived by two nephews, two grandmothers, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Julie Snow, of Canyon Lake, TX.

A memorial service to honor Zeke’s life will be held on Friday, March 14, at 11:00 AM at Freedom Fellowship Church, 410 Oak Run Point, New Braunfels, TX, 78132. A reception will follow immediately after the service.

Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Zeke had a special smile I see when I think of him. I remember when he was in the Freedom Fellowship Co-op and knew he had a love for old books and coins. I was happy to have found him a Bible from 1920 at a local thrift store. When I told the owner of the thrift store about him, it was on her heart to give it to me for him. My heart is broken for all of you in this tragic unexpected loss of such a special young man.

  2. This shouldn’t have happened to you Zeke. You were a good person, trapped and hurt by things you couldn’t control, or were afraid to face. Though I wish that didn’t happen, I don’t blame you. At least you don’t have to hurt anymore.

I’m gonna miss you. Rest in peace.
