Jasmine Isabella Gonzales, age 19, a resident of New Braunfels who was attending school in College Station, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday evening, November 10, 2024. Jasmine was born in San Antonio on March 17, 2005, to Gilbert J. Gonzales, III, and Jennifer Vega Gonzales. Jasmine is a loving daughter and sister and a shining light to all who knew her. She will forever be remembered as an angel to her family and a caring friend to many. Her infectious laughter and warm spirit brought joy to every gathering, and her kindness knew no bounds. Jasmine had a unique ability to make everyone feel valued and loved, leaving a lasting impact on the hearts of those she touched. She had a love for cats and is survived by her two cats, BMO and Pupu. Jasmine was an avid viewer of all types of movies and loved to review them. She enjoyed being a part of the NBHS ROTC and working as a lifeguard for the LPAC community. Though her time with us was far too short, Jasmine’s legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire us all. We celebrate her life and the beautiful memories we shared, holding her close in our hearts as we navigate the days ahead without her radiant presence. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Raul Vega. Survivors include her parents, Gilbert and Jennifer Gonzales; sister, Sienna Gonzales; brother, Isaac Gonzales; paternal grandparents, Gilbert and Ofilia Gonzales; and maternal grandmother, Belinda Vega. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Friday, November 15, 2024, at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.

Jasmine Isabella Gonzales, you will be missed.
My heart hurts for this family. I went to school with her grandparents, Gilbert and Ofilia Gonzales. They love their family so much. Such a beautiful young lady . I pray God helps this family through this difficult journey.
To my fellow Aggie Gilbert and family, I am so sorry to hear such sad and devastating news. May you find peace and a path forward.
