  7. Dear Bennie and Keith, Your Mother was a good friend of my parents Jack and Bea Paul. They enjoyed each others company and had many fun times and memories together through the years. In this time of your sorrow may you and your families find peace and strength in the presence of God’s love. Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:14

  8. Delores was such a dear sister in Christ whom I met at Freedom Fellowship Church in New Braunfels. We both served as doorkeepers(greeters) there. I will always remember her and her sweet smile and loving ways. We miss her and pray comfort on all her family and friends.

  9. Miz Delores, I am so sad you’re gone but so happy you’re with Jesus, healthy and whole and no longer suffering. You fought cancer with grace, dignity, and humor and little complaining. You and I were sisters from different mothers…we had so much in common and similar viewpoints, except for politics, where we agreed to disagree! We met while working at the Hope Hospice Thrift Shop 11 years ago and became fast friends! If it weren’t for you, I would have left, as my other cashier buddy had passed away, and it wasn’t the same. Then you came along, all nice and kind and sweet, you became my friend and loved me (even when I wasn’t so lovable) and the rest is history. We had such good times together, lunching, shopping, and spending hours on the phone, solving our, and the world’s problems. I miss all of that SO much! I will remember ALL of that but most especially your love for God, your family, your friends, and Mr. Beau. I am looking forward to seeing you again in Heaven! Will we still be dear friends there? I sure hope so. Love you so much! Keith and Sheila, Bennie and Sonia, I send my thoughts, prayers, and love.

  10. Delores was such a positive influence on my life. From the day I met her, I knew she was a special person. Delores lived her faith, loved her family, and adopted her friends. She was my Texas Aunt, because she was too young to be my Texas Mama. Delores had such a warm giving heart. She started me on my path of volunteering by encouraging me to work at The Silo Food Pantry. Delores and I never ran out of things to talk about. I miss her beautiful smile and her infectious laugh. She helped make me a better person. I love her.

  11. Delores was a precious friend and mentor to me. I regret that I didn’t take more time to visit her. She had so much wisdom to share with me. I pray that she knows how much I love her. I thank God for putting her in my life.
